Networking event
18:30 Tuesday 30 November 2010 - Belgian Comic Strip Centre in Brussels
During the Barge to Business networking event conference participants, policymakers, politicians and senior civil servants could meet each other in a relaxing atmosphere. It was an excellent opportunity to establish interesting contacts and to discuss the issues that were raised at the conference.
The building which houses the Belgisch Stripcentrum (Belgian Comic Strip Centre) is a protected masterpiece (1906) designed by the Belgian architect Victor Horta. The Belgian Comic Strip Centre is a museum that presents the complete history of the Belgian comic strip in an inspiring way.
During the evening guests were spoilt musically by the Jef Neve Trio. Jef Neve is a Flemish virtuoso jazz pianist who is conquering the international jazz scene with his Trio. Exclusively for the Barge to Business Networking Event, the Jef Neve Trio played a breathtaking two-part jazz concert.
