Information Market

This exciting European event about logistics and supply chain management, focused on inland waterway transport, took place on the 30th of November and the 1st of December at Square in Brussels. The information market presented business oriented and practical presentations and debates that will facilitate the integration of inland waterways specialized services, new technologies, innovative solutions and learning by example into European supply chain management. The emphasis was on testimonials, sharing of experiences and workable solutions. Presentations focussed on:

The unique event brought together some of the biggest brands in Europe, both on the supply and demand side to lead more than 30 sessions showcasing all that inland waterway transport has to offer.  Included were a host of panels that will address future trends and current events impacting the industry.

Existing waterway users were also represented. Industry leaders who already use waterway transport as an integral part of their supply chain shared their experiences and tips with the audience.

More than 600 delegates from 21 countries attended the conference. Delegates include executive managers, logistics managers, inland navigation experts, government policy makers and waterway service providers. The event was fully booked by mid-way through November.
